Hospital Visits
If you or a relative has to go into hospital, there is always the possibility of a regular visit from the Chaplaincy team. In order to facilitate this you will HAVE to specify when you enter that you are a Catholic and would like a visit. Owing to Data Protection Laws and concerns over privacy etc you will not receive a visit as a matter of course. Even if you register as a Catholic. You must specify that you would welcome a visit.
Also, your priests are not mind readers: If you are ill and can’t get to Mass someone will need to let us know! It is no good showing up a few weeks later complaining that no-one visited you if nobody in the parish knew!
