A small committee has recently been formed to oversee the restoration and repair of the outer stonework of the church. This promises to be a major and very rewarding project for the parish.

The images below show just a few of the areas requiring attention. Unfortunately some well meaning repairs carried out in the past have obscured the stonework with an unflattering cement render. Current advice is to remove this to expose the stonework and repair from that base.

The stonework around the entrance arch is particularly eroded and causes many draughts in the church entrance.
