Stained Glass Windows

The first major project of this millennium at St Georges was the renewal and repair of the church’s glorious stained glass windows. In a project costing between £15,000 and £20,000 and taking over a year to complete, each pane has been carefully restored by Keith Hilton, a local craftsman, formerly of the York Minster team.

The four panels above the alter are now the subject of individual bookmarks that can be purchased at the back of the church.
