We raised nearly £800 at our St Crux Day on Friday 16th November. Many thanks to all who made it such a successful day.

Captured on CD, the very first concert performed on the newly restored Pipe Organ.

Led by Terence Charlston (Organ) and The Georgian Ensemble (Leader Rachel Rowntree).

Featuring the music of Handel, Bach, Mozart, Stanley, Leighton & others.

This will be of special interest to those interested in the Irish/American connection in the vast history of St Georges Church.

SVP

St Georges SVP meets every Thursday at 7.30pm, except the third Thursday of each month. SVP Mass is at The Retreat on Heslington Road York on the third Tuesday of each month.

Car Parking

Please note there are only 3 spaces at the side of the house and 2 at the back of church for parishioners to use when they are working on or in the church. On Sunday's if these spaces are available then please use them. The 5 spaces are marked in yellow. Please note if you park in any other spaces you are LIABLE TO BE CLAMPED. See notice board for more details.

ADOPTION

Catholic Care and Catholic Child Care are seeking adoptive parents for family groups of two and three children, 3 to 6 years old, children 4 to 6 years and babies who have Down's Syndrome.

God our Father, shepherd and guide, look with love on Pope Benedict, your servant, the pastor of your Church.

May his word and example inspire and guide the Church, and may he, and all those entrusted to his care, come to the joy of everlasting life.
