PARISH EVENTS AND INFORMATION

Third World Group - to all who supported our day at St Crux -
a big thank you for oil your generosity of time, goods ond support.
Your efforts raised £960-93. God bless you all.
Confirmation 6roup: Thursday this week at 7.00pm @ St Wilfrid's
Journey in Faith 6.30pm in the Rectory. Anyone interested in becoming a Catholic or
simply knowing more about the Faith is invited to attend.
Used stamps: There is now a box in the porch for used stamps - all contributions
welcome.
Poor Box Fund: All donations appreciated and used by the SVP. For anyone who may not
know, the Poor Box is set into the church wall, close by the shop.
Altar Servers: We are interested in recruiting new altar servers - people who have
made their First Communion only please.
Choir: We are looking for new members of the Choir - if interested see Rosa our
morning organist - please be prepared to commit!. .  .AND . . .
all the above invitations go out to our university students too.
Please have a word with Canon Alan if you would like to be involved in the parish in
any way.

Red Box Time: Please bring in your boxes for the contents to be counted. They will be
returned with the latest magazine.
THE VISIT OF THE PAPAL NUNCIO IS FAST APPROACHING!
Please moke arrangements to go to Middlesbrough if at all possible
The bishop would like as many of us to attend as are able.
Saturday 26 May - Mass in the Cathedral at noon
This is an opportunity to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of our Cathedral
Light refreshments afterwards
If there is enough interest, transport may be available.
